Snowboarding update! - one of my new skills!

I am doing S curves! I love it!  I have not gone down a blue yet but I do love learning a new skill. It is so rewarding.

I was on the lift with a first time skier and she was saying how hard it was to learn how to ski. I told her that I was so glad that I stuck with it and how nice it is to have something to do during the winter.

I am really looking forward to Colorado and showing Jess and court my skills!

I also set a date of March 14th for my st pats party. I invited some people. Oh man. hopefully people come

So it is 2015, January 3rd of 2015.  I have moved from CO to PA in late 2013 (actually on Christopher and Annie's Wedding weekend) and I need a list of things to do this year.  I am out of the 'I am new to the area' and I am looking to expand.  So I have made a list of things that I want to do and hopefully make 2015 a good year.  

So here are the 10 things that I want to do: 

10. 10K or greater Races!!

9. Live Events - Comedy, Plays, Concerts!

8. New Wines, Beers, Cocktails!!

7. New Hiking Areas!

6.  New Recipes!

5.  Times down the mountain on my snowboard! 

4. Awesome Trips!

3. Kisses!

2. New Skills!

1.  Host a Party in PA?!?! – This is the worst one! 

The last two scare me the most - it will take some effort for those two.  I have no idea what the new skill will be but I love learning so that will be good.  And throwing a party in PA will be difficult to say the least..... I am very wary of this - but hey maybe I can get KW to come down and just hang out with me.

Last couple of Months!

So it has been a while since I have posted.

I lost my job in MI. Moved home for a couple of month. It was good. Found a job in CO with Mars and then moved out here.

So that is where I am.

I am working as a supervisor - which seems to fit me. I am working the afternoon shift all the time which again is nice. I have the mornings to work out and just hang out. I am getting used to the area.

So that is it. I am going to try to post more about what I am doing! I know I always say this but I am adding it to my list of things to do:)

Hey! So I wanted to blog about how hard it has been to not have friends. Today - the BIG blizzard happened - and I went in to work. More just scared of not having anyone to hang with. I litterally went in and checked email and did some small items but mostly I just talked and hung out...........I seriously feel like a loser! I guess I am getting to the point where I need to find friends!

So I basically have signed up for Big Brothers Big Sisters. This should be a good activity. It will get better this summer - that is what I keep thinking....

Meet Virginia!

So 12 girls - who maybe the best thing that ever happened to me came to VA! We all meet in college and have remained friends through the years! It is amazing to me how close we have all become! But nothing bets a night out with them - I mean nothing. Pictures to follow! Anyway I just wanted to plug somewhere in my blog how amazing they made my last weekend in VA!

First Estimate!

Oh WOW! Time is flying! I am getting my first estimate on my condo soon! I am nervous about how much I am going to loose! But seriously hopefully not:( UGH!

Being a grown up stinks!!!! Well only when it comes to the big stuff:) HAHA!

Two Weeks

So I was cleared with my background check and my drug test! I am official working for Kerry Ingredients! I turned in my two week notice.

It was surprising how different people are taking it. Literally there are some people who are so negative about itm telling me how difficult MI will be or how different the job is. And then there are some who are more excited than I am. I was super surprised by how supportive all of my friends have been. Between the list serve being there to hear about how stressed I am and telling me that it is totally normal to Mary Burge yelling across the parking lot 'is it true!' to the guys saying this is totally the right decisions and you will make new friends!

I want to remember all of these moments! So maybe the next blog will be about everyone's different reactions!

But putting in my TWO WEEKS was good!
